Ivan entered the computer industry in 1961 as a computer engineer for International Computers Ltd and had site responsibility for 5 of ICL's major computer installations in Wellington - Ministry of Defence, Wellington Computer Centre, Computer Bureau Ltd, New Zealand Motor Corporation and the Government Computer Centre.
In 1973 Ivan joined the State Services Commission, Computer Services Division to establish a Technical Services Centre. During this time he was involved in the evaluation and recommendation for communication equipment used by IRD, DSW and Wanganui Law Enforcement Networks.
Ivan joined Computer Bureau Ltd in 1977 and was a founding member and Director of Datacom Equipment Ltd. The success of this organization was such that the Holding Company, CBL, adopted its name as the Datacom Group of Companies.
Ivan brings to LANtech not only technical experience but also extensive business management expertise. As Financial Director Ivan ensures that LANtech continues to operate on a sound financial footing and maintains a high level of business ethics.
